Cameron likes to present himself as all things to all men. Sometimes this can present some very bizarre contradictions. Hence he can lecture the Middle East about democracy, even though he himself has no electoral mandate to push through his half-baked and dangerous policies.
Added to which, his fine words about democracy seem bizarrely hypocritical in the same week that he was trying to flog arms to regimes that ruthlessly put down rebellions with those same armaments.
Cameron's all for democracy - especially if it means making a fast buck out of shooting pro democracy demonstrators.
